1. What are the papers in CSEET?

The CSEET (CS Executive Entrance Test) consists of the following subjects:

1. Business Communication

2. Legal Aptitude & Logical Reasoning

3. Economic and Business Environment

4. Current Affairs and Quantitative Aptitude

2. How can I get the Study Material?

Study material for the CSEET can be obtained by registering through the official ICSI portal. The Institute provides study material and practice papers after registration. Additionally, free online classes are also available for students.

3. What is the examination pattern?

The CSEET is a computer-based test consisting of two parts:

● Part 1: 120 minutes for the MCQ-based test, covering four sections:

      1. Business Communication
      2. Legal Aptitude & Logical Reasoning
      3. Economic and Business Environment
      4. Current Affairs and Quantitative Aptitude

● Part 2: A Viva Voce on Presentation and Communication Skills for 15 minutes.

4. What are the passing criteria?

To pass the CSEET, a student must:

Secure 50% aggregate marks across all subjects,

Obtain a minimum of 40% marks in each individual subject.

5. Is there any category of students who are exempted from qualifying CSEET for seeking registration to Executive Programme?

Exemptions are granted to:

● Graduates and Post-Graduates (with specific qualifications)

● ICAI Final Course passed students

● ICMAI Final Course passed students These students are exempt from appearing in CSEET and can directly register for the CS Executive Programme.

6. Is there any negative marking in CSEET?

No. There is no negative marking.

7. What is the fee for registration to CSEET?

The fee for registration to CSEET is Rs.2000/- per session including CSEET (Guide 1 & 2) per student per appearance. Institute also provides free online classes for CSEET.

Students can also register for physical classes of CSEET conducted by Regional/Chapter offices at the time of registration in CSEET by remitting partial optional fees of Rs. 1000/-

1. What are the papers in the CS Executive Course?

The CS Executive Programme consists of two groups:

● Group 1:

1. Jurisprudence, Interpretation & General Laws

2. Company Law & Practice

3. Setting Up of Business, Industrial and Labour Laws

4. Corporate Accounting and Financial Management

● Group 2:

1. Capital Market & Securities Laws

2. Economic, Commercial & Intellectual Property Laws

3. Tax Laws & Practice

2. How can I get the Study Material?

Students who register online will receive the study material within 21 working days after the verification of their application by the Institute.

3. When can I appear for the examination?

The CS Executive exam is conducted twice a year, in June and December. Students can appear after fulfilling the eligibility criteria and completing the registration process.

4. What is the examination pattern?

The CS Executive Programme examination is a Computer-Based Test with multiple-choice questions (MCQs), audio/video clips, and descriptive questions. The duration of the test is 135 minutes, with 120 minutes for the MCQ section and 15 minutes for the Viva Voce.

5. What are the passing criteria?

To pass the CS Executive examination, a student must:

Secure at least 50% aggregate marks across all subjects, and

Obtain a minimum of 40% marks in each subject.

6. What is the validity period of my registration?

The registration for the CS Executive Programme is valid for five years. After this period, students can apply for re-registration if they have not completed the course.

The CS Professional Programme consists of two groups:

● Group I:

1. Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) – Principles & Practice

2. Drafting, Pleadings, and Appearances

3. Compliance Management, Audit & Due Diligence

4. Elective 1 (Choose one from the following):

CSR & Social Governance

Internal and Forensic Audit

Intellectual Property Rights – Law & Practice

Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Cyber Security – Laws & Practice

● Group II:

5. Strategic Management & Corporate Finance

6. Corporate Restructuring, Valuation, and Insolvency

7. Elective 2 (Choose one from the following):

Arbitration, Mediation and Conciliation

Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Corporate Tax Planning

Labour Laws and Practice

Banking and Insurance – Laws and Practice

Insolvency and Bankruptcy – Law and Practice

2. How can I get the Study Material?

Students who have registered online will receive the study material within 21 working days after the verification of their application by the Institute​

3. When can I appear for the examination?

The CS Professional exams are held twice a year, in June and December. Students must complete the required registration formalities and eligibility criteria to appear for the exam​

4. What is the examination pattern?

The examination is conducted in descriptive format.

Each paper carries 100 marks.

The duration of each exam is 3 hours

5. What are the passing criteria?

To pass the CS Professional examination, a student must:

Secure at least 40% marks in each paper.

Obtain a 50% aggregate across all subjects of a group.

If a candidate passes in one group but fails in another, they are required to retake only the failed group​

6. What are the exemption criteria?

Exemptions can be granted under the following conditions:

If a student scores 60% or more in any paper, they will be exempt from that paper in future exams.

Candidates with certain higher qualifications may also be eligible for exemptions.

Exemption requests must be submitted before 9th April for the June session and before 10th October for the December session

7. What is the validity period of my registration?

The registration for the CS Professional Programme is valid for five years. If a student does not complete the course within this period, they must apply for re-registration to continue

1. How students can get certificate of Business Accounting Associate (BAA)?

Students can apply for certificate of Business Accounting Associate (BAA) on fulfilment of following criteria:

(a) Passed both the groups of Intermediate Examination

(b) Completed the Practical Training

(c) Completed Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (AICITSS)

(d) Qualified Self-Paced Online Modules, as applicable
